East Herts Miniature Railway is a 7 and quarter inch gauge miniature railway nestled in the Hertfordshire countryside! It's located within the grounds of the Van Hage Garden Centre and are open to the public every weekend!
There are many locomotives to see and explore too. The popular Samon is a firm favourite with passengers as it looks very much like Thomas the Tank Engine with it's blue colour! The Peter N Brown was built in 2000 and is otherwise known as the Tinker and has a distinct brown colour.
The T C B Miller has been pulling passengers in excess of 10,000 miles and has been the workhorse of the miniature railway site.
The H G Harrison is driven from the tender and is perfect for people who require a more accessible ride. The Lee Endeavor is an all weather locomotive and is powered by a three cylinder water-cooled diesel engine!
