About this activity

Paradise Wildlife Park is set in the Hertfordshire countryside and was the first zoo in Europe to receive a double Platinum Award for funds raised for the Tiger Conservation Initiative. It has lots of animals, enclosures and more to experience for a fun family day out.

The start attraction is the Big Cat Territory. There are white lions, tigers and snow leopards and although they look cute they are fierce predators! There are also large mammals which include zebras, reindeers, camels, deers and many more that are cared for at the park. Plus small animals such as wolves, red pandas, otters and the cute red fox!

If you're more into reptiles, then enter the Angkor Reptile Temple where you'll see lots of creep crawlies such as tarantulas, lizards, geckos, tortoises and many more. There's also lots of snake species too where you can get up close and personal with!

If you wanted a more VIP experience, then they have lots of animal experiences which are safe, educationals and will allow you to establish a special bond with some of the animals. Some of the experiences include feeding the penguins and lemurs, meet the red pands and meerkats ad even tickle a tapir! There's also an option to become a zookeeper during the day which is the perfect way to learn more about the zoo and wildlife conservation.

You'll also find play areas with obstacles for the kids to run around in, a splash pool, adventure golf and even a speedway museum! Don't forget to check out when the fees, talks and shows are too before you visit so you can learn more about the incredible animals at the zoo!
