Fairlands Valley Park is a 120 acre parkland in Stevenage offering lots of activities for the whole family, no matter what you're age is! There is vast green space and lots of wildlife to look out for who call the park their home.
At the park, you'll find the aqua park. It has sprays, musts and sheets of water giving the little ones a safe space to run around in, especially when the weather is nice! There is a play area next to the water park and there's lots of obstacles to navigate that toddlers to teenagers will enjoy.
If you fancy a spot of water sports, then there's an activity centre here too! The watersports take place on the 11 acre sailing lake and you can choose from windsurfing, sailing, angling, kayaking and dragon boats too!
There's also activities on dry land to choose from which include mountain boards, grass sledges and mountain biking too. There's a six metre mobile climbing wall which has four routes, dynamic foot and hand holds and the accredited instructors will guide you all the way!
In total there are four lakees. The environment lake attracts a range of wildlife including raptors, insects, and foxes and many more and is a safe opportunity for visitors to explore and get up close to some of the habitats.
There's also conservation areas too and plenty of woodlands and trails to explore, so bring a picnic and head out with the family and explore on foot, by bike and even by water if you prefer!
Vehicular access is possible from Broadhall Way, Six Hills Way and Shephall View and Fairlands Way, with car parking facilities at all four entrances.

Feeding the ducks, geese and birds in the park can be fun for kids but bread is like junk food to them and is not good for their health.
