The House on the Hill Toy Museum covers many different aspects of toys through the ages, revealing the culture, fashions and technological developments of toys! It's everyone's dream to go to a toy museum and this is somewhere all ages will love!
Alan Goldsmith, the owner and curator of the museum was born during World War Two and has a passion for toys! Since opening the doors, there have been over 2.5 million visitors returning time after time!
The museum houses over 70,000 individual toys on display, ranging from Victorian era toys to modern toys too! You'll see the likes of Barbie and Sindy dolls, cuddly toys, board games, slot machines, trains, puppets and so much more! See how toys have changed over the years.
The museum also have a WWI and WWII Blitz exhibit too, as well as a Showbz collection and Rock n Roll exhibition. As well as this, you'll find a Dinosaur park onsite where you can see life sized dinosaurs and even try your hand at fossil hunting!
The owners have made many guest appearanced too on television and radio channels so see if you've spotted them on screens near you!
