Lee Valley Regional Park has something for everyone and stretches 26 miles and is 10,000 acres in total! It has some award-winning green spaces, world class sports venue and lots of wildlife to spot and discover. 

There are so many open spaces and nature reserves to wander through. The River Lee Country Park is a 1,000 acre space which is perfect for walkers, cyclists and wildlife watchers. It even has an animal adventure park too! Go wildlife watching in North London at the Tottenham Mashers or go for a riverside walk at Walthamstow Marshes.

Lee Valley also has lots of sport and fun activities outside and inside! Cycle and walk on traffic-free country trails, head out onto the river in a boat, go horse-riding and even white water rafting at the Lee Valley White Water Centre!

There's also an Ice Centre that is Olympic-sized and is open for courses, public skating sessions and lessons for all abilities. 

On the website, there are also free activity ideas to do in the numerous parks or at home! It's a great way to get the kids outdoors and discover more about the areas in which they live. It also doesn't cost either, as walking in nature is free! So if you are looking for something to do that doesn't cost much, this is perfect space.
