Harlow Town Park is one of the largest urban parks in the country and covers over 160 acres of green space! The park has plenty of gardens, playgrounds, paddling pool, skate parks and a pets corner to explore for a fantastic family day out.
There's lots to explore and plenty of events for all the family throughout the year, so make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening. Annual events include a bonfire night, fairs, circus and music too!
There is a water garden made up of three ponds and is a popular feature at the heart of the park. It's home to ducks, fish and birds and is a great place to do some wildlife watching. You'll also find a sensory garden which was built for blind people and focuses on smell and touch! There is a storytelling area too which is popular with families.
In the Summer you can take a dip in the paddling pool or why not bring your skates and scooters here and have a go on the skate park and practice your tricks!
Relax in the cafe and admire the views and watch the world go by too!
There are a number of council car parks located around the park, but the park is centrally located in Harlow
