The Gibberd Garden is a grade II listed garden created in 1957! The garden is around nine acres in total and is full of sculptures and decorative objects to admire, with dramatic pools, streams and glades.
On your visit you can explore the collection of rare and exotic plants, as well as the sculptures too! The also have lots of events over the Summer too including music events with talented performers, festivals and much more. Check the website before you visit so you know what's happening.
They also welcome groups for some unique learning opportunities too. Children can develop their creativity and imagination by seeing a variety of sculpture of different sizes made from a range of materials and record their experience.
They also offer talks too if you wanted to learn about the life and work and more about the gardens too, just get in touch with them.
Take A414 towards Hertford. Go through three roundabouts and turn right at the fourth A1025 and B183 to Hatfield Heath, Brown sign). Continue straight through two more roundabouts, when you will come upon a quarter mile straight road (Gilden Way). At the end of this straight there is a brown sign on the left pointing left to Marsh Lane and the entrance to the Garden.

A visit to the Gibberd Garden provides ample opportunities to address many aspects of the National Curriculum including Art and Design, Mathematics, ITC and Science.
The Garden was designed as a private garden and has uneven paths, steps and sloping banks.
