Wimpole Home Farm is a popular spot with plenty of rare breed animals and farm animals to explore. From horses, pigs, goats, rabbits, sheep and more, there's lots to see during your day visit.
Each Spring, there are several hundreds of lambs as they skip and beat with new life! You'll see the lambs bonding with their mothers and you may even catch a glimpse of them feeding and sleeping as they explore the world.
There's also a number of rare breeds including cattle and sheep outside in the paddocks. The Shire Horse is a rare breed and you'll see this at the farm too! There are five in total!
You can pre-book a carriage ride for the day too, which is a great gift for someone special. The rides last for 45 minutes and there's plenty of time to stop for photographs along the way.
For a more hands on approach, you can try shire horse driving. You'll spend the day working with the horses too!
As well as the farm, you'll have the acres of estate to explore. From the garden paths and winding routes to glasshouses that you can peek into there's lots to do. You can step on top of a hill too and enjoy views across the landscape. There's lots to explore as well as the farm!
