The Raptor Foundation is a bird of prey sanctuary and hospital and is open for visitors. By visiting, you'll be supporting all of their important work and helping birds of prey across the world too.
On your visit, you'll be able to watch some of the raptors fly during selected times of the day and watch them glide through the air! Make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what times they will be flying.
As well as this, there is a huge playground and pond area. The playground is suitable for children up to the age of twelve, and there's plenty run, climb, jump over which would burn off some energy!
As well, there is a large wildlife area and is a haven for some native wildlife around the centre. See what insects, beetles and more you can find!
They also offer plenty of experiences too, to get closer to the birds than ever! You can meet the birds and get to handle and fly a selection of smaller birds including the barn own, little owl and more.
They have meerkats too, and you'll be able to learn more about them and even get to hand feed and stroke them too! There's plenty of opportunities for photos, so make sure to bring your camera along with you.
