Jesus Green Pool is situated on Jesus Green in Cambridge and opened all the way back in 1923! It's one of the last remaining lidos built across the country in 1920s, so you'll literally be swimming in history!
The pool is actually longer than it is wide and was designed to mimix the nearby river. It opens during May - September and is a great chance to get outside and swim, just like you would on holiday!
The lido is unheated, so just be aware that it may be a little chilly on the cooler days. You could always bring a wetsuit if water temperatures are below 14 degrees.
You'll also find a newly built sauna, sunbathing space and grass areas to laze about in the sun and spend the whole day there if you wish.
They hav a picnic area and cafe if you needed to refuel too, selling lots of hot and cold refreshments to keep you hydrated.
There is a disabled toilet, poolside hoist and accessible changing area for those who need a little extra help/
