Wandlebury Country Park is just south of Cambridge and offers miles of woodland walks and wildflower meadows to explore. You can build dens, enjoy cycle ride or try spot the local wildlife on your day out within nature.
In total there are eight miles of waymarked trails to explore. There's also lots of public rights of way networks to explore in the surrounding areas too. They are all various lengths, so all abilities will be able to find the right trail when visiting.
There are also lots of informal play areas too. There is a special den building area and games field where you can bring some ball games and frisbees and 60 hectares of woodlands and meadows to run about it!
On your way around the trail you may even spot the herd of Highland cows. They live outside all year round, so see if you can see them! You'll probably find they're munching on the meadows.
There are lots of areas to have picnics at the park and benches if you need a rest too!
Did you know you may even spot Ely Cathedral? From the Ely Viewpoint you can see up to 17 miles on a clear day!
There are many sensory trails for young explorers too and you can print at home a trail from their website and bring it with you as you meander around the paths.

Come dressed for a day out in the countryside: wellies, rain coats, sun hats and sun cream if its going to be sunny.
