Danish Camp Riverside Visitor Centre is a tranquil location for all the family; their riverbank location offers fine views and they’re only a short walk from the National Trust Dovecote and Stables at Willington. The Norwegian log cabin surrounded by woodland on the banks of The River Great Ouse in Willington just east of Bedford, so offers lots of stunning walks and views. Enjoy exploring the pretty area and seeing which cool wildlife you can spot!

If you’re feeling extra adventurous, enjoy cycling the walks! Or go by boat, as you can hire one of their self-drive family friendly boats for an excursion on the Great Ouse.

As if this wasn’t tempting enough, in the summer months, they have extra play features like bouncy castles and trampolines! So, what are you waiting for? There’s truly someone for everyone…enjoy strolling or cycling around the beautiful area, spotting wildlife, then adventuring on their play features!

In 2010, they completed a very exciting project, the launch of 'The Artful Dodger', a wide-beamed steel boat. This vessel was lovingly restored with a contemporary feel to take passengers for river trips up and down the local river, and for longer trips to and from Bedford. They also have a new river route along the Bedford river, with their mooring opposite the Swan Hotel, by the Town Bridge.

The fun day can be rounded off by visiting their lovely restaurant, that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This fabulous restaurant attracts lots of visitors, and they have a huge range of choice!
