What's really special about Linton Zoo, is that not only are they home to some really remarkable animals, but they also have a focus on conservation and education too!
Here, kids can come face to face with their favourite animals, exotic animals, and some they might not have even heard of before!
Seeing some of the animals is also a great learning experience too for them, because many are rare and exotic creatures, and some on the endangered species list, from Grevy's Zebra, to Snow Leopards, Giant Tortoises and Lemurs.
Linton Zoo is set across 16 acres, with not only animals! There are beautiful gardens to explore, picnic areas to enjoy and even a kids play area.

There are many conservation programmes at the Zoo and they take many forms, from the Thailand Hornbill Project, to Lemur Conservation and Snow Leopard Trust. If you want to help support the work they do, consider adopting an animal!
They have a take-away cafe that serves a selection of food and drink for take away only which must be consumed either in the car park or taken off site when you leave.
If you want to really enhance your visit, check out the Keeper Experiences that you can add onto your visit! They will give you some incredible memories!
Definitely make a stop at the Gift Shop! Here you can find a variety of souvenirs, semi precious stones and fossils. Items available include a range of soft toys, bespoke pictures, fridge magnets and keyrings

Most areas of the zoo is accessible for people using wheelchairs. Expect mostly Country Park like pathways with some uneven and mixed surfaces including roots in places, they are also set on a slight incline
Because of this they do not recommend motorised mobility scooters or chairs, especially those with a narrow wheel base.
Admission fees are collected at the gatehouse just inside to zoo gates as you enter the car park and before parking - this allows them to offer free parking.
