East Town Park Countryside Centre

About this activity

East Town Park Countryside Centre is around fifty acres in size and lies at the heart of a network of footpaths that extend around Haverhill! You'll be able to get outside, explore the trails and the beautiful scenery and woodlands. 

The park is a firm family favourite with lots of seasonal activities like an Easter egg hunt, halloween trails and much more. Just check out the website before you visit so you know what's happening on your arrival. 

There are a variety of different meadows. The east meadow is home to lots of squirrels and walnut trees along with native plants that are colourful throughout the seasons. 

There is an easy access trail that's around 400 metres and you'll meander through the millennium meadow and enjoy the wildlife in the park. This trail is ideal for wheelchairs and pushchairs and you'll loop past a pond too! 

There is a visitor centre on site which serves drinks and snacks if you're in need for a pit stop too! 

You'll also find a children's play area too where the kids can run about and have some fun!
