Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens has been there since 1888 and they've welcomes lots of visitors over the years! There are lots of activities for children and plenty of regular events all year round for all ages to enjoy.
At the south end of the gardens, you'll find the children's play area. They'll be able to run, climb, jump, slide and bounce and burn off some energy! Navigate your way around the obstacles, play hide and seek and do some imaginative play!
If you're interested in getting close to nature, then visit the wildlife hide! It's been built to the east of the area and visitors can sit and watch as wildlife flock here, see what you can spot!
They also have two hard tennis courts too which are available to book all year round. Practice your tennis skills or simply have a competition with your friends, it's a great sport for when the weather is nice.

You can park for 1 hour Monday to Saturday at no charge in Bocking End – opposite the Gardens. Parking is limited (Bocking End runs from Argos down to Bocking).

Coffee House in the Gardens, situated in the gatekeeper’s cottage in the Braintree & Bocking Public Gardens, has been offering it’s delicious coffee to the people of Braintree since 2015.
