Admirals Park

Admirals Park is close to Chelmsford city centre and offers something for all ages! Whether you want to play some sports, take a walk or keep fit, there's lots of open green spaces for everyone to enjoy. 

If you wanted to take part in some sports the park provides space for cricketers, footballrs, bowlers, tennis players and more, with plenty of walking and cycle paths too! For the young visitors, there's woodlands, gardens, conservation areas to explore and see what you can find! 

Within the gardens you'll find a 200 year old stone crafted structure which used to sit over the towns public water supply pipe located outside Shire Hall. See if you can spot it! 

The park is also an important location for a range of wildlife as it's part of the river corridor of the River Can. There are a mix of different habitats including woodlands, ponds, grasslands and more which provide shelter for a range of different species. 

The park is open all year round daily and is a great space to get out in nature and relax!
