Hylands House and Park is a prestigious Grade II listed building with 574 acres of historic parkland to explore! Within the park there are forman gardens, woodlands and a children's adventure playground for the little ones to enjoy.
The house opens its door every third Sunday of the month to reveal the history and secrets within the walls! You'll be able to enjoy a guided tour, view the exhibitions in the library and also listen to some live music too.
They also have The Stables which houses an artist shop and information point.
You can meet resident artists and designers and watch as they create unique pieces in their studios. You may even bag yourself a gem in the second-hand book shop too!
You'll also find an award-winning and accessible castle themed adventure playground outside.
It feature four metre high castle battlements, drawbridge entrance and dedicated play areas for all ages. There are ladders, nets, slides and much more and lots of sensory equipment and musical walls!
Explore the castle hamlet, head to the look out tower and burn off some energy in the play area as the kids of all ages will enjoy it!
Hylands Estate has two entrances. The Hylands Park entrance, CM2 8FS, is closest to The Adventure Playground and to visit the park. The Hylands House entrance, CM2 8WQ, is closest to the house and The Stables which includes The Stables Cafe and the Resident Artists Studios.

Mauro’s Castle Kiosk is an outdoor café located near the Adventure Castle and offers a delicious selection of snacks, sandwiches, and cakes with hot and cold drinks.
