The Edinburgh Dungeon is not for the small or faint hearted! It's the ultimate thrilling journey as you head on a 70-minute interactive walk through experience, with real actors, theatrical sets and special effects that bring history to life. 

The courtroom is where you'll be judged for your crimes, are you guilty?! The costumes are inspired by real clothing worn by the judges from the 17th century. the witches judgement will have you come face to face with Agnes Finnie - accused of witchcraft! Protect yourself from accusations or you may get burned alive! 

The torture chamber has replicas of authentic tools used in the city of Edinburgh and across Europe in medieval times.

There's also the cannibals cave where Saney Bean's family would love to have you for dinner and the anatomy theatre where you'll sit through one of Dr Knox's dissections! 

Will your survive Edinburghs series killers Burke and Hare? Excape the Edinburgh plague too and see the castle ghosts with lots of gruisesome tales! 

There are surprises around every corner as you, especially Edinburghs Vaults as you see what lies beneath the city. 

The dungeons have 360 immersive sets, with live actor shows and an underground journey through Scottish history. It's scary fun for all that also helps you learn all about the past.

Navigation around the Dungeon is mainly via level pathways. However, due to the nature of the attraction and the building, it is housed in, some floor surfaces are uneven.
