Hopetoun House is a place of beauty and tranquility, with plenty to see and do and explore on your visit. The grounds have fantastic trais to explore, as well of lots of wildlife to spot along the way!
For young visitors there's something for all ages! Follow the children's trails in the house and ask for a trail from one of the guides as it's a great way to explore the house. You can also pick up a trail for the grounds too.
Make sure to visit the range centre for games, bug hunt, colouring sheet and displaces and even a chance to handle the wildlife that is found from the grounds too!
Geocaching is a gloval treasure hunt, with thousands of caches hidden over the world! All you need is a GPD enabled device and off you go!
For those who are interested in nature, they run a junior rangers club which is lef by the ranger service and takes place on Saturdays. It's a great chance for children to learn new skills, meet new friends and get active outdoors.
The house itself has stunning architecture dating back from the 17th century and has been home to the Hope family since the late 1600s. Occasionally they have guided tours too if you wanted someone to take you around .
The ground have quiet corners to spring gardens and no matter the season you'll find something new to explore and see!
For Sat Nav please use EH30 9RW which will take you into South Queensferry to Farquhar Terrace. From here you will be able to follow the brown signs to Hopetoun and it is a straight road from this point.
