Abbot House is an A listed building, dating all the way back to the 16th century! It's steeped in rich history and there's lots of things to do for the whole family to enjoy, whatever the weather!
The walled garden has stunning views across to Dunfermline Abbey. You'll find a herb garden too with delightful smells of lavender, sage and rosemary.
Check out The Spirit of Eternity fountain which was based on a design drawn by John Duncan. There's also the Henryson Gates which are a tribute to Robert Henryson and The Sundial too which is a must visit!
Next door to Abbot House you'll find Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries which celebrate royal and industrial heritage so don't forget to pay it a visit too!
On site, you'll find a workshop which has plenty of craft workshops and events throughout the year.
There are stitching classes where you can turned some materials provided into a work of art and much more! check out the website to see what's coming up and get involved.
Immerse yourself in a World War Two escape room too, which is based in the house itself. It's got a good mix of puzzles and is great for all ages, particularly younger ages! Find Tommy Angus and his family in the middle of an air raid and solved the puzzles.
There are limited 1hr parking bays directly in front of Abbot House, together with 3 Disabled Parking spaces. Longer stay parking is recommended in one of the many car parks around the town centre including St. Margaret Street, Walmer Drive and Bruce Street.
