It's time for those active kids and families to GO APE at Go Ape Dalkeith, where you can literally climb through the trees and have a great time as a family!

Go Ape Dalkeith can be found in the beautiful Dalkeith Country Park, only two minutes from the Edinburgh Bypass. Here, you can enjoy the challenges of the ropes courses and eight zip wires across the River Esk!

In fact, the 1000 acres of Dalkeith Conutry Park offer a wonderful backdrop for you to enjoy your tree top experience, completed with gardens, ancient woodlands, historic buildings and more!

So what exactly awaits you at Go Ape Dalkeith? Well, what if we told you the older children and adults could enjoy mega zip rides and sky-high platforms? Then, younger adventurers can take to the tree tops too, conquering challenging courses that incredemtally get harder and harder, perfect to build their confidence!

The Treetop Challenge is the biggest adventure at Go Apre for adults and children over 1.4m.

Then you have the Treetop Adventure, which is fun for the whole family. Crossings, climbing towers and, most importantly, ZIPS will surely entertain!

    They have a restaurant on site which also offers takeaway

    Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.

    Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day. Make sure you also tie long hair back.

    A Go Ape school trip offers self-discovery, problem-solving, teamwork, better communication and confidence building opportunities, so perfect for students!

    They offer age-appropriate activities for 4-16-year-olds, including ground-based games!

    It doesn't hurt to take your own water and healthy snacks to keep your energy up as they have a picnic area too

    The venue does have disabled access. However the ropes course is an active activity, requiring mobility, but if you have any specific questions just give them a call
