The Almonry Restaurant is part of the medieval precinct and is located in the Cathedral grounds. Here you'll find locally sourced, home cooked lunches, cakes and afternoon tea.
The Cathedral is open to visitors on Sundays from 12.30pm and closes at 5pm. Admission is free and visitor tickets are not required!
Weekly, there is no charge for those wishing to come in for prayer or reflection. Please notify the welcome team on arrival.
Make sure you stop at the gift shop! Access to the shop is free, and there is also another gift shop, The Old Choir House, located on Ely High Street a short walk from the Cathedral.
Due to the age and fabric of their beautiful building, some of the floor surfaces can be uneven. They are fully committed to the safety and well-being of all visitors and take every precaution to highlight any areas which may present a trip hazard.
They have adapted as much of the Cathedral as possible to make it more accessible for those with limited mobility. If you have any questions, do ask staff for assistance. Carers receive free admission
