Aysgarth Falls is perfectly situated to visit the superb waterfalls on the River Ure! The Aysgarth Falls National Park Visitor Centre Information Advisers can also point you in the direction of other lovely walks in the area taking in the surrounding woods or heading up to the lovely villages of Carperby or Aysgarth. There are interesting displays about the area, guidebooks and leaflets and of course, friendly staff to help you enjoy the National Park in just the way you want.
The falls are well worth the minor trek with 3 tiered limestone steps, and there are scenic walks aplenty with lots of natural wildlife. These falls were featured in the Kevin Costner film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
There are facilities and amenities in the centre, plus not so far away in the village of Aysgarth.
Take the 1st exit onto Wensley Rd/A684, turn right onto Church Bank, turn right to Church Bank, and you're 300 feet away!
