The Valley Gardens

The Valley Gardens is a popular park near to Harrogate town centre.It's a 17 acre English Heritage Grade II listed garden next to Pinewoods woodlands. There's beautiful historic buildings, plants, playgrounds and much more for a great family day out. 

The whole family can get involved for some games and activities at the park. There are four tennis courts, table tennis and a skate park which is suitable for BMX, skateboards and scooters. You'll also find a nine hole pitch and putt, 18 hole crazy gold and a nine-hole disc golf too. 

There's is a children's playground with swings, slides and climbing frames that the kids will love and will burn off some energy! On Sunday afternoons from May to September they have concerts at the park too. Grab the whole family, bring a picnic and enjoy some music in the sun. 

There's lots of habitats here for wildlife too and they attract bees and other poollinating insects. Most of the footpaths and also suitable for wheelchair users too, making it accessible for everyone! 

It's a great park to visit on a Summers day, with endless amounts of fun to be had.
