The Cressing Temple Barns is a unique piece of 13th century history with a restored Tudor walled garden, tea rooms and Knights Templar Barns for the whole family to explore. 

Experience the atmosphere of the stunning heritage site and wander around the walled garden to learn about the Tudor plants and how they were used, or just simply relax with a picnic! 

The Temple Barns of historic interest and have been well preserved for its medieval carpentry and attract visitors around the world. It provides insight into the different building techniques and a glimpse of the live of the people who built them all those years ago.

They're the oldest known timber framed barns in England! 

The walled garden is a place for tranquility and it's a great chance for the children to play hide and seek and run about in. 

They all have a ful programme of events all year round so make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening. 

Finish your day off with a trip to the visitor centre which sells a variety of locally sourced items, food and gifts for all ages. There are also archery sets, games and knights that will bring your visit to life!
