About this activity
Woodup Pool is a public salt water bathing pool with an area of sand, so it's just like you're at the beach! It's a natural pool with no chlorine and what's better, it is free to visit!
In the Summer months the pool is a great place to visit and it can be found next to Woodrolfe Creek. There are no frills when it comes to this basic natural pool and is open for visitors between May and September.
The pool has been open since 1901 and is filled by the tide and flushed out and replensished every few days. There are no lifeguards here, so make sure you take care and supervise children at all times.
There's also ample space for picnics too and BBQs! So bring the whole family down, bring garden games and make a splash!
You can build sandcastle on the sandy area and you're more than welcome to bring infltables and paddle boards too!
