Chelmer Park

Chelmer Park specialises in providing sports facilities for the community, with a range of pitches for your needs! There's lots of open space too for gentle exercise and fresh air for the whole family. 

At the park, you'l find football pitches, tenis courses and even an outdoor gym. It's also home of the National League Chelmsford Hockey Club and Chelmsford Cricket Club. As well as the traditional pitches there are also floodlit synthetic pitches for football and hocket too!

They also host international hockey matches too, so you could even head down and watch a game. 

As well as the sports facilities, there are plenty of areas for cyclists and walkers to go exploring. As well as plenty of play areas that the kids can run around in! 

The park has the remnants of an old apple orchard and lots of wildlife, so see what you can see on your way round! 

The park is a great place to go if you wanted some fresh air and the opportunity to sit back and have a picnic or go exploring!
