Conwy Valley Railway Museum is full of vintage railway information and artefacts and was originally formed in the early 1970s. Within the museum you'll find five model railways which are self-operated and lots of railways history to learn for all the family.
On your visit, take a miniature railway ride which lasts for around ten minutes and enjoy the landscaped grounds. You may even see some rabbits grazing by the pond! The trains run most days and in the summer, there'll be a steam engine pulling the train.
At other times it'll be a diesel engine. You'll enjoy views of Snowdonia and it's a chance to relax as you go along the track too.
The museum itself has a collection of railways memorabilia from over the years and the interactive railway models can be controlled by the press of a button!
The railway shop has a vast collection of model railways for beginners and enthusiasts as well as gifts for all ages!
There's also a buffet coach cafe if you wanted a bite to eat! It's a chance to step back in time too!
The museum is a great place to go if you're a train enthusiast or simply want to learn more about railway history in North Wales and beyond, with a vast range of locomotives to explore, discover and learn all about.
