Zip World Penrhyn Quarry

Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is set in North Wales near Snowdon and is home to the fastest zip line in the world. Fly above the quarry lake and learn all about the history of the quarry, or simply watch the zipper fly if you didn't want to take part! 

At the site you'll fine Aero Explorer, which is ideal for adrenaline junkies! You'll be taken on a high speed journey across the quarry, before launching off and gliding across 400m of track. You'll soar above the terrain and take in the spectacular views. 

You'll also find Quarry Flyer which is a dual zip line adventure ideal for kids or anyone not quite up for the adrenaline rush of the other adventures! Enjoy the stunning views of the site, and fly 110 metres through the air to the tower and then 90 metres back down to ground. It's perfect for the whole family too! 

There's also quarry karts here too, which is the only mountain cart experience. It's only suitable for ages over 15, so if you do have some older children with you, this will be a great idea for them to enjoy some mountain track racing! 

If you're not ud for adventure, why not go on a tour! It's a great opportunity to learn about the history of the location and you'll go to the top of the wuarry which is 1500 feet above sea level with stunning views across Snowdon!
