About this activity

Anglesey Sea Zoo showcases the best of British marine life at this family attraction! There are over 40 tanks with fascinating creatures from around the coasts of the UK such as lobsters, eels and jellyfish!

The Front Room shows what's hiding under piers and harbours and they'll be some camouflaging themselves too! So keep an eye out! The cold-water tank is home to the Atlantic wolffish and they're a little grumpy looking! There's also adult spiny lobsters too and you'll learn about their life cycle and breeding projects too.

The Crashing Wave might surprise you as 1 tonne of water is dumped down every 30 seconds, but don't worry! In the No Bone Zone there really is no bones! You'll discover invertebrates like starfish, urchins and octupus too and even the mesmerising moon jellyfish.

The Shripwreck may seem spooky, but inside you'll find crabs, blennies and more and you'll also learn about the stories of wrecks in North Wales and the artifacts that were founds.

There's also a second wave! The wave stirs the water and provides plenty of oxygen for the animals inside. Can you find the bright blue lobster hiding inside? There's also a shark and ray pool too. There's nursey tanks by the pool during breeding season and you may even see a baby shark wriggling inside!

With rock pools, interactive displays and much more, there's so much to learn about the conservation work and marine life here!
