The mansion is an early 18th century building which is opulently decorated for the Egerton family's extensive collections. Explore the state rooms, wander the servant's quarters and see a vast collection of fascinating objects. Discover the library with 7,000 books, music and drawing room and much more to see what was life wad like hundreds of years ago.
There is also a 40-acre rare breed farm with animals, working machinery and demonstrations too. You'll learn about traditional farming practices and meet the farm animals too. Tere are cattle, horses, pigs and more and during the Spring you may be able to feed the lambs and walk the pigs out to the fields.
The field to fork exhibition is where visitors can discover where the food we eat comes from. It's told through the words of real characters who lived and worked at the farm and you'll see how farming practices have developed over the years.
There are also acres of deer park, wildlife, walking and cycling trails and multiple viewpoints around the parkland too, offering endless opportunities for things to do!
