Kids, are you ready to explore the wonders of the oceans, streams and rivers on your next family day out in Manchester? Great, because we're off to SEA LIFE Manchester where an amazing underwater world is ready to be discovered!

Dive in an come face to fin with over 2,000 creatures who all call the water home, so prepare to immerse yourselves in a world of glittering scales, humongous tentacles and inquisitive sea turtles!

Some of the more popular residents for families to visit include the adorable cownose rays, and the hugely cute and brightly coloured clownfish! Don't miss a chance to see with your own eyes the impressive sharks, who have been on our planet for over 420 million years!

SEA LIFE Manchester also offer some really fun VIP Experiences that you can add to your visit to make your day extra special, including snorkelling with sharks and turtle feeds. How cool is that!? 

Also, check the calendar for fun events they host throughout the year so you can plan around them, including After Hours at the Aquarium and Canal Cleans - a great way to teach kids about conservation and looking after our planet!

SEA LIFE Manchester is located within Trafford Palazzo (previously known as Barton Square). It's right next door to the The Trafford Centre, which can be accessed from Trafford Palazzo via an indoor footbridge.

They are situated right next to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre just next to the Trafford Palazzo Car Park (known as Trafford Centre West car park on Google Maps).

SEA LIFE Manchester FAQ’s

Their own charity SEA LIFE Trust does amazing work within conservation, and they are also involved in a world-first beluga whale sanctuary too!

They do have baby changing facilities within the centre.

SEA LIFE Manchester doesn't have a café however there are restaurants and cafés in close proximity to pick something up

Check out the VIP Experiences that you can add to your day to really make it special, from turtle feedings to snorkelling with sharks and even a behind the scenes tour!

There is a very impressive gift shop which is definitely worth stopping by in to pick up a host of gifts and souvenirs, including toys!

SEA LIFE Manchester offers an astonishing aquarium experience for students who can get up close to a whole host of fascinating creatures! SEA LIFE work closely with schools to develop information that engages and inspires young people and is relevant to the educational curriculum.

From self-guided tours, to workshops and outreach programs, it's a great way for students to enjoy learning with a difference!

They do have baby changing facilities within the centre.

They do have disabled access throughout the centre. There are also disabled toilets available within the centre.

Unfortunately for certain areas, such as on top of the viewing tank for activities such as our VIP Feeding experiences, there is no wheelchair access due to the stairwell to the area.

They don't offer discounts for those with special needs but one carer per admission is complimentary.

Pre-booking a time slot is essential so make sure you do so before arriving. They are also a cashless attraction.
