At Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse you'll enjoy a fascinating journey through the story of rural Norfolk. Set in 50 acres of Norfolk countryside, there's beautiful meadows, trails, a farm onsite and a world of tree houses and adventures to discover with the whole family. 

The workhouse museum is based in a former workhouse and you'll be able to explore what life was like for those who once lived and worked there. Listen to first-hand stories from people, be face-to-face with projections of staff and stand in the workhouse setting. From the school room to the laundry room and yards, there's so much to learn about the fascinating building. 

The museum of norfolk life explore past generations with the help of objects that thell their stories. The gallery contains thousands of objects, from the 1950s room, first farmers gallery and engineering gallery there's lots to learn, with a temporary exhibition space which changes every year too. 

As well as this, you can discover life on a workfing farm. It has a number of rare breed animals, traditional farming techniques and much more, so you can see how farming has really changed over time. animal breeds include horses, cattle, pigs and ducks and much more. 

After your exploration, head to the adventure playground, filled with tree houses, walkways and more! There are slides, bridges, swings and zip wires for everyone to enjoy. 

Step back in time and browse around the old village shops too! There's a village post office, farrier's forge and you can even find out more about the work of the blacksmith!
