About this activity

Sandringham House is the Royal Family's country retreat and is most stately home in Norfolk! It's been a private home to generations of British monarches since 1862. Explore the house and gardens and much more and see why royal monarchs love the space so much!

Sandringham House itself has eight ground floor rooms used by the Royal Family and are open for visits from April to October. The decor and contents still very much remain as they were in Edwardian times and there's so much to at!

The gardens cover 60 acres in total and the more formal gardens are open from April to October too. They've been developed regularly by each monarch since 1863. There's also St Mary Magdalene Church which has held many memorials and is used regularly as a place of workship by the Royal Family.

Sandringham Royal park is open throughout the year and you can walk, run or cycle your way around. There are two waymarked nature trails with varying lengths and lots of woodland paths to explore.

There's a childrens woodland play area which has walkways, towers and water play which the little ones will love running around in. There is also a toddler specific play area too which will create a memorable experience for family visitors.
