About this activity

Wroxham Miniature Worlds, the largest indoor modelling attraction in the UK, stretches over 10,000 square feet and features some of the world's biggest model railroads. Visitors can see model railway displays, slot car presentations, a whole city constructed from Lego bricks, model boat displays, a Vintage Penny Arcade, flight simulators, train simulators, railway layouts that you can drive, and many other toys from across the years. If you're in the area for a snack or souvenir, stop by our onsite café or model shop.

Models on display include:

Great Britain, a breathtaking OO Gauge model railway, is a popular scenic model railway set in the British countryside that features bridges, tunnels, and real trains passing through. You can see real trains traveling through the model railway's streets as they weave their way through over 500 sq ft of terrain. On this model railway, you can see traditional villages where you can see a church, pub, cricket pitch, and houses while the trains weave their way through. In addition, the trains weave through the city station and the freight yard, making for an ever-changing display of railway models.

Europe, the UK's largest HO scale permanent model railway display. You can observe a variety of model cities, model buildings, and people as you follow the railway through the city, the lake, and the mountains. Trains run through the city and mountains, where railway lines weave through and under a snowy mountain village. To date, it's our most ambitious model railway, measuring over 800 square feet.

Japan ,  from the skyscrapers and model coastline to the weaving N gauge trains, this layout gives a fantastic perspective of the country. You can travel from the city to the Japanese country by way of a meticulously constructed mountainous background that includes a Shinto temple. Trains of all sorts pass through and out of stations, including the amazing Bullet trains that zip across the mile-long elevated track that crosses the water outside the little Japanese fishing village.

Slot Car Layout, this fantasy slot car track races through the dunes on a desert road at the bottom, two race tracks on the middle tier, and a high-speed rally course on the top tier. Slot cars race through a 400 square foot scene that features a racetrack with pits, a racetrack with pits, and numerous cars zipping around. Slot cars from all eras of Scalextric appear on a row of scalextric cars from a local collector as racing occurs.

With the flight and train simulators, you can become a pilot, experience everything from taking off to flying to performing stunts, and even drive trains across the Canadian mountains. Take a virtual journey across the country, exploring its vast landscapes and hidden railway lines.

There is something for the whole family to enjoy in one of Norfolks most unique aqttractions.
