The Poppy Line - North Norfolk Railway runs through miles of stunning Norfolk coastal scenery, from seaside resorts to Georgian towns, there's lots to do along the way for the whole family.
The railway line stops at three diffrent stations, Holt, Weybourne and Sheringham. Holt is the western terminus and there's lots to see and do. Here you'll find a gift shop, a model railway of the town of Broad Sidlinch which was a fictional place featured in a Thomas Hardy short story and the William Marriot Museum which is housed in a recreated goods shed.
You can also view preserved goods vehicles in the loading bay and the town centre is just a mile away with plenty of shops and cafes to explore.
Wybourne station has been restored to its original condition and there's a small shop and buffet here too. You'll find a bookshop, model railway and there's a replica World War Two allotment complete with Anderson Shelter too. You can also explore Wybourne as a filming location which can be seen through displays in the Porters room.
There's lots of walking routes around the station too, offering panoramic views to watch the approaching trains.
The last station is Sheringham, which has been restored to its 1955 appearance and opened in 1975. You'll find plenty of walking routes and a shop here and lots of things to explore nearby.
