About this activity

The Plantation Garden is one of Norwich's great treasures and is set on a three acres heritage site and was established over 100 years ago. It's just 600 yards from the city centre and features a gothic fountain, flower beds and more.

On your visit you'll be able to explore the woodland walkways, the ten metre long Victorian greenhouse, rustic bridge and open lawns and beautiful flowers. The garden is heavily wooded and provides a great habitat for the wildlife, it's also a tranquil and relaxing place to sit.

The gardens are locally known as the secret gardens and you can join a guided tour if you want to! The tours are run by the guides and last for around one hour and you'll learn the history of the garden and how they're managed today.

The gardens have a huge calendar of events too!

From garden sales, to concerts, tours and afternoon teas, make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening when you arrive!
