Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is your ultimate day out for the whole family! Explore the gardens, take a trail through the reserve and get closer to wildlife. Not only this, there's indoor and outdoor play areas, rides and so much more! 

One of the main attractions is WildRootz which is an adventure playground with 30 experiences to explore! Climb up the 11-metre slide tower and explore its 15 different levels and slide down, build castles and bury treasures in the sandpit, zoom across the zipline, make a giant nest and so much more! Kids will love this area as it's set across nearly two acres and is a great space to burn off some energy. 

HootzHouse is an indoor adventure playground! You'll be able to have fun whatever the weather and experience the fast slides, rope bridge and a special under 3s area with soft play and balls.

Step inside the discovery centre and explore the fossils and bones and even mammoth tusks on display! Learn all about the wildlife they protect and even get up close with real harvest mice! If you fancy going outside for an adventure, then why not take part in the sculpture trail? There's lots to spot that will engage children's minds and is the perfect way to explore the reserve and gardens. 

There's also a wetland discover area where there is child-friendly pond dipping and even some resident flamingos to have a look at! Make sure to bring a camera to take some pictures of them!
