Holkham Hall and Estate is a place of rich and diverse landscape, with deer, oak trees, colourful gardens and a nature reserve for all the family to enjoy year round.
Inside the hal, you can discover the collections that tell lots of story and go back 400 years. The marble hall is a great introduction to your tour, allowing you to see the state rooms and paintings too. It also has some original furnishings as well!
Take a walk around the walled garden and admire the colours, greenhouses and ornamental gardens. The park is spread across 3000 acres, so make sure to bring a blanket and have a picnic with a view! There's lots of wildlife too, so see what you can find! You can also follow the walking and cycling routes too!
Visit the Holkham Stories Experience too where they celebrate the stories of Holkham's 400 year rich heritage. Discover the landscape designers, how bricks were used to build the hall and learn all about sustainable food production!
You'll be able to hire bikes, head out on a treetop rope course, let off some steam in the woodland play area or even hire a boat and explore the lake! The possibilities are endless and there's something on offer for all ages.
Use the postcode NR23 1RH to enter Holkham via the north gates. Please be aware that there are height and width restrictions (2.9 metres wide by 3.3 metres high). Follow the path through the park until you reach the car park
