About this activity
The Bug Parc is your chance to get up close to some of the strangest and beautiful micro monsters! There are hundreds of unusual creatures, play area and gift shop to enjoy for fun for the whole family.
You'll find three large tropical houses, with over 200 species in total and 15 different zones. You'll find out all about invertebrates from all corners of the globe and you'll see leeches, scorpions, cockroaches, giant water bugs, leaf cutting ants and a variety of beetles!
They also run hadling sessions too. It'll start with a short film about the centre, following by a list of rules when holding the animals! You'll be able to handle around five or six of them and you'll find out lots of facts and get some photo opportunities!
There is also a large children's play area with plenty of room to run around! There's picnic tables too which make for an ideal rest stop. You'll find climbing frames, bridges, cargo netting and much more to let off some steam.
Finish your day out with a trip to the gift shop and purchase something to remember your day out by!
