Baulk Wood is a large woodland with easily accessible paths which are suitable for wheelchair users and push chairs, with lots of wildlife to encounter along the way for a great family day out!
The restored landfill site is a beautiful place to visit, so it's hard to believe what it once was! There is a car park onsite, with several trails and walks available for all abilities. You'll find benches and natural play features too, with a wonderful wildlife sculpture trails. See what you can find along the way!
There is a hard stone path around the woodland and is generally flat, making it suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Download the map to help plot a suitable route for when you visit the park.
There are no toilets onsite and dogs are welcome but make sure to put them on a lead! Bring a picnic with you or check out the local team room at Langford Garden Centre.
There have been regular sightings of Green Woodpecker, Goldrest, Redstart and Sparrowhawk and lots of rabbits and foxes too! Bring your camera and see what you can find as you take a walk through Baulk Wood.
