Did you know that Blue Planet Aquarium is actually the largest aquarium in the UK's North West. The aquarium is home to over 100 living displays AND the aquarium is also where you can find one of the UK's largest collections of sharks! How amazing is that!?
The aquarium exhibits span nine different themed zones, and the famous sharks are in just one of them. Think how much more there is to see!
In fact, during your time exploring, kids can discover over 100 living displays all filled with thousands of marine creatures from all around the world!
If that wasn't enough, Blue Planet Aquarium also features an extra area outside where you can find Dalmatian Pelicans plus a Play Area!
Kids can get face to face with family favourites such as the adorable clownfish, they can see graceful stingrays move through the water, they can see the cheeky pufferfish, or marvel at the beautiful turtles and seahorses!
One area not to be missed is Venom, where the family can meet the most deadly creatures on the planet, including lionfish and viper snakes, tarantulas and jellyfish!
Make sure you immerse yourselves in the impressive underwater tunnel too, where you can see creatures from all angles and feel like you’re swimming alongside them!
