The Beatles Story provides the story of the world's greatest band and it's the largest exhibitions devoted of the lives and times of The Beatles. You'll be immersed in the journey as you find out how they rose to fame and fortune and you'll experience the places that helped make them the greatest band.
You'll enjoy a self-guided tour finding out all about their story, including key locations such as Cabah Club, The Cavern Club, Abbery Road Studios and much more. There's a rolling programme of exhibitions, so everytime you visit there is always something new to discover.
You'll see authentic memorabilia including some of the original instruments, clothings, Ringo Starr's drum kit, album sleeves and never-before-seen photos and original handwritten lyrics. There are also multi-media guides available in twelve different languages and contain information, video interviews and is all narrated by John Lennon's sister, Julia Baird.
Children of all ages can experience the Discovery Zone. You'll leave about their lives, music and there's even a giant floor piano and the chance to sing along to your favourite Beatles song too! Listen to records, create artwork and explore the interactive timelines. They've linked the story and their early lives to selected areas of the National Curriculum too, including History, English, Art, Music and more.
There's also lots of events too, including panel discussions, live music and lots of activities for all ages. Check out the website so you know what's happening when and where before you pay the museum a visit!
Follow the M6 north to junction 21A, turning left onto the M62 in the direction of Liverpool. At the end of the M62 follow signs for the city centre and waterfront.

The Beatles Story has developed learning resources to create a fun and educational experience for all.
