Knowsley Safari Park has the longest safari drive in the UK as it's five miles long! You'll see lots of different animals from lions to baboons and you can go around as many times as you like. You can also explore on foot too!
The safari drive will begin in Eastern Asia where you'll meet the camels and deers. You'll then drive to African Savannah where you'll see the white rhinos, striches and antelope and they might even come and say hello too! The monkey jungle is really popular too as they'll come right up to the car and may even be a little bit mischievous too! You'll also head through lion country which means you can watch the pride in all their glory, without a fence between them and your vehicle too.
Once you've done the safari drive, then you can head out on foot. You'll be able too se the amur tigers, sea lions from North America and even the bald eagles! The amur tiger trail has lots of viewing spots too and they even have the dinner sash spring game where you can test your speed and see if you can outrun a tiger.
Take a peaceful walk through the woodlands which will lead you past a waterfall and check out the rides and amusements too which are suitable for all ages that will keep the kids entertained all day long.
If you're worried about your car getting scratched, then why not go aboard the baboon bus? It lasts around 1-2 hours and takes you up close to the aimals. It's also kitted out with ladders and ropes that the baboons love to swing on!
Don't forget to check out the animal talks and displays too! The trainers love to share facts about the animals and they'll answer all of your questions.
