The location of Grosvenor Park is perfect to give you the full Chester experience. The park is located just outside the city walls and overlooks the River Dee, and in fact Grosvenor Park is one of the finest examples of Victorian parks in the entire UK.
Within the park you'll find formal avenues lined with impressive trees, beautiful statues, and plenty of large sweeping lawns surrounded with ornamental shrub beds (actually one of the reasons the park is so well known!)
Don't miss the restored, and newly introduced Grade II listed features including the Second Marquess of Westminster Statue, St Mary’s Nunnery Arch, and the Quarry Garden!
Grosvenor Park is also popular with kids because there they can find the miniature railway, as well as a fun play area. Kids can enjoy a train ride during weekends, public holidays ans school holidays.
