Sefton Park is a 235 acre park in Liverpool and has won many awards over the years. The park is open 24 hours a day, all year round and has lots to do for the whole family.
You'll fnd a large playground with swings, slides, climbing frames and a multi play area for the kids to burn off some energy! There's also a number of statues and monuments in the park including the Shaftbury Memorial, Eros Fountain and a Peter Pan statue.
The bandstand has also been popular since the Victorian era and is said to be inspiration for The Beatles songs! Check out the caves and waterfalls, with plenty of exploring to do in the Fairy Glen and Aviary viewing point.
At the park you'll find the palm house which houses a historic collection of plants from around the world. The surroundings are magical and houses a number of concerts, festivals and events all year round.
Play a game of big chess, admire the statues and explore the plants for a great educational and fun day out for the family.
You can access the park via Queens Drive, Greenbank Drive, Aigburth Drive, Lark Lane and Elmswood Road.
