Beningbrough Hall is set in the Vale of York and has lots to see and do for tor the whole family. From the grand architecture to formal gardens, changing trails and shopping opportunities, it's a great all year round outdoor adventure.
You'll find a wildnerness play area with a seven metre pyramid tower and slide, and for the smaller children there is a wendy house and bucket swing. There's also a den zone too and swings and frames to explore!
Indoors, you can see the beautiful carving creations where you spot initials of the people who built Beningbrough, plus lots of fruit and funny faces on the doors. Imagine what life was like as a laundry maid, look for clues and secret doors, and keep your eyes open for the spectacuar paintings and decorations.
There is an eight acres formal garden, with beautiful colours and scents all year round and changing trails in the school holidays too. They have lots of events over the summer to keep the kids occupies, so make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening.
