Yorkshire Museum has a number of temporary and permanent exhibitions that tell the story of York and its history. From Jurassic World to collections, activities and workshops, there's plenty to do for the whole family.
The Jurrasic World exhibit is included in your admission and you'll journey back through millions of years at the exhibition. You'll meet the dinosaurs and sea monsters that roamed the landscape as they're brought to life through technology. Inspect the finest details of the skeletons and skins and much more.
There is a life size plesiosaur overhead and a dig zone where you can hunt for fossils. The exhibit looks at the history of the Earth and you can be a dinosaur detective by putting on one of their dinosaur backpacks.

They also have a permanent collection of the regions greatest surviving teasures too! See the York Helmet, Gilling Sword, Ormside Bowl and more and learn how York became England's second city.
