York Maze is a fun filled family day out and the maze is created from one million living maize plants! It's an award-winning day out, with rides, attractions and shows for all ages.
The giant Maize Maze is the largest in Europe, but there's also lots more mazes too for you to explore. Each year the giant maze has a new design for you to solve, with size challenge points along the way. Solve the puzzles and there may even be some prizes to be won!
The Jurassic Maize is of course dinosaur themes with dinosaurs lurking about and the maze of illusions has mind-bending puzzles and illusions, pictures that move and mirrors that can make you manic!
Mineshire maze is a 3D labyrinth of tunnels, bridges and walkways, with secret rooms all around. The musical maze is a sensory adventure with musical instruments guiding your round the maze and you can even have a go on the instruments too! There's so many different mazes for all ages.
As well as the mazes, there's lots of outdoor fun too! From the Volcorno which is made of corn and is the UK's only 360 degree climb and slide and the Cobstacle Course where you can race your friends through the inflatable obstacles course. there's a giant popcorn pillow, slides, climbing zones and a climbing wall for all active kids that want to burn off some energy!
Don't miss the family rides, shows and more too! There's a giant tractor and trailor ride where you can try and defeat the crowman, racing cars and crazy maze shows filled with fun and laughter. Dont miss the foam party too which happens everyday at 5pm.

The Kernels coffee shop sells great coffee, home made cakes and sandwiches, paninis and pick n mix kids lunch boxes. There;s also a BBQ too and refreshment shacks around the park.
York Maze is a farm based attraction, so be prepared on wet days with wellies and waterproofs.
The Ivy Store gift shop sells a wide range of gifts and souvenirs. Prices range from pocket money gifts for kids, right through to work from local artists, craftsmen and garden ornaments.
The site as a whole is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. However the paths around the site are not tarmacked, they are stone or gravel in many places so may be a bit bumpy.
