At the World Museum Liverpool you'll get to discover incredible objects from around the world, from outer space to live creatures! There's an ancient Eqgypt gallery, dinosaurs, aquarium and so much more, so no matter what you're interested in, there's something here for all ages and interests!
The aquarium is their permanent display with huge tanks and immersive projections. Get up close to hermit crabs, starfish and much more and pop your head into the viewing bubbles to see them up close! You can learn about the conservation efforts to protect the seas and where animals live.
Fancy learning about the solar system? The planetarium has lots of shows for adults and children. They also have baby-friendly screenings too and for those with sensory sensitivities. Make sure to check out the website so you can find out all about the shows that are coming up!
The ancient Egypt exhibition will take you on a journey through 5000 years of human life, exploring ancient burial practices, spells and more that will give you an insight into what life was like.
You can also explore the life of dinosaurs too, with full sized skeletons and the opportunity to learn how they lived and died. The Dino Siner investigates dinosaur teeth and their food and take a trip down the time tunnel to discover the beginnings of life.

World Museum is close to the entrance to the Queensway Tunnel. There is pay and display parking outside the museum on William Brown Street and behind the museum on Hunter Street. The nearest other car park is at Queen Square.

From Ancient Egypt to the Stone Age, World Museum offers a wide range of activities, sessions and resources for education and community groups of all ages.
Wheelchairs are available to borrow - ask at the information desk. The Planetarium is accessible for wheelchair users and can accommodate two wheelchair users per show.
